A Lost Boy by Dave Pelzer

A Lost Boy is the sequel to A Child Called "It" both written by author Dave Pelzer. This book talks about the life of Dave Pelzer after he escaped from his treacherous mother who had abused him so much. After a meeting in school with Dave and some of the school officials, he was finally moved to another city away form his mom and brothers. Now as a lonesome child, Dave Pelzer with no home, no family, nothing at all must find life in the new city. His life before the abuse started was like heaven on earth. Dave had the best tasting food, the greatest adventures, the most fun to play with brothers, and possibly the best parents ever. One dark secret caused the mother to snap and then soon the abuse began.
